Thread was locked, I am banned so here are my replies

Wrote this on wrongplanet.net, thread was locked, then it was unlocked and moved to another section and I was banned. Here are replies. First, here is the topic:

Well 2 posts and I'm banned-

Onto replies:

Ladyinred wrote- I completely agree with you. Shame that the thread will be deleted and you will be banned though. But well said.

(re:) You were right. I'm banned now. Sad how predictable it is. I think to make it seem less predictable they decided to lock it at first then move it to wrongplanet.net discussion just to prove you wrong in some way but I'm sure if you wouldn't have mentioned it, this would have been deleted.

(re:) I didn't ask for old photos of yourself ;)

MattShizzle wrote-
Sounds 100% right to me. Authoritarianism on a site for aspies is like requiring users drink a gallon of milk on a site for the lactose intolerant.

(re:) Exactly. I really wonder about their priorities and why they are blatantly trying to pressure people into their rules of conformity. It certainly isn't the easy to read rules Alex posted. There was this one thread where Sinsboldly claimed someone who wanted blunt honesty was breaking the rules and bolded "sexual fetish". Sorry but I've never heard of a sexual fetish that revolved around brutal honesty.

Funny thing is, he only has one example in his blog. In that, the mod spoke his mind in a perfectly sound way, and DID NOT ban anybody! He didn't even lock the topic! He reminded the OP it is against the rules to post any material that may attack any certain group of people isn't acceptable, and that he respects the intention of humor, but did seem nethertheless an attack.

Not to mention this rule isn't enforced on a "Authoritarian" level here. lawlzzzz
Any frequenter of WP knows this.

(re:) Expect more from this blog. People have brought up that site time and time again (http://isnt.autistics.org/) as it has some funny content. It's not offensive. Even Alex on the main page has a link that could be "offensive" using that mod's logic titled "NT's in denial." Oh no, sound the alarms at an autistic messageboard because it's pulling an us vs. them stunt! Oh please. It's a double standard and an attempt to overrule someone using your mod status to tell them they aren't allowed to write in a topic about something they found funny that clearly isn't offensive but then say nothing when it comes to people saying downright vulgar statements against autistics and shrugging.

That is an indicator that the person is choosing sides based on what that person is and even though tries to put on a display of "now now, no offensive us vs. them stuff" act, reveals alot when the person turns the other cheek when someone posts blatantly aggressive and offensive messages about autistics. Double standard? YES

Postperson wrote-
I'd class it as overmoderation, an overzealous action. Sometimes you get that from mods, I suppose everyone has their 'short fuse' days, so at this stage I'd probably slot it into that category.

There has however been a period in the past when overmoderation was a serious problem at this site and ultimately most of the then moderators were banned. They became a junta who ...oh well it's probably all still there way back in the archives.

(re:) I am not sure what time frame you are talking about but yes it is overmoderation. It's not wrong to ban people if they are a threat and a real one. I wonder why people who are opinionated but in a logical and not overly vulgar are tossed out. That makes no sense for an aspie community.

  2. They seem to keep being very authoritarian and have a "my way or the highway" attitude - at least sinsboldly and makuronish or whatever the fuck his name is.

  4. Try Zomg Aspies if you want a free for all without limits. I have posted there but I comment as I do on WP, and so I get little if any flak.

WP is more rule conscious. This is just the way it is. Some mods do not like the way I post but as long as there is no obvious rule breaking I am left alone.

    Just a thought.

  5. Anon, you sound like Sinsboldly :P

No mods have banned unfairly and only recite rules if they don't like someone. Mods are allowed sock puppets too and it's obvious the sock puppets that aren't penalized swiftly are mods!

  6. Its funny how their answer to any problem is- ban! And thats it. Some fucking support site! If there was a decent mod, they'd find a way to resolve the situation, and actually have the understanding that aspies can make mistakes. Its a complete disgrace whats going on, and none of us are overeacting in our anger at these moronic mods. We should try and take it further.

  7. Banned myself in 2009. No big deal. Looks like nothing has changed. The unprofessional layout and simple out-of-the-box PHP forum system should be a good indicator of a poorly planned and a poorly managed system. If you are not a "chain yourself to a tree" liberal then I'd stay away from the wrongwrongplanet.net

  9. Just got my ban card, I was Dox47, and I agree with everything that's been said so far. Short of something really extreme like paying personal visits to the offending mods, I'm not sure what can be done. I've tried contacting Alex to no avail, tried reasoning with the mods, and all that's gotten me is banned. At this point I plan on doing everything in my power to burn that place to the ground, it's become a disgrace to the AS community and downright harmful to vulnerable Aspies looking for support.

    1. You came back to WP not that long ago.
      What were you thinking? lol
I was told that the WP assassination squad was after your scalp.
This could simply be a rumour. I have no way of knowing.

You are a very rational, intelligent aspie.
I suggest you find another website.
      Run fast, run far. lol
      I wish you the best.

  11. What's wrong with sinsboldly, why did she change her gender and diagnosis so fast, and why did she say this once?;

  12. Is makuranososhi an African?

No offense, but he said something like "Thank you for leaving me with that MESS", like a true African would say it, I thought he was white, but it's ironic for an African to behave like a robot, repeating the words "You are welcome to your opinion" over and over again.

    Do Brits hate Scandinavians?

  16. I find it really stupid that some people with autism have Down's like faces, they look so dumb, I laugh at them, most people with autism are completely uninteresting and boring.

  17. I honestly think that you might want to consider informing Sinsboldly's employer about her conduct on WrongPlanet. Her real name is Merle Morrigan and she works as an insurance claims investigator for The Regence Group in Portland, Oregon.

  18. What's hilarious is that..well over half the idiots that made fun of you on that thread are probably banned by now as well. They threw all of us under a bus and somehow these losers think they're "different" and they aren't ever gonna be banned? Well, they're in for a surprise. The mods threw us under a bus and they'll do it to you too. They are just too damn stupid to realize it.

  22. It does sound like Alex' porcine creation of insanity, where the mods are like asylum inmates and you talk to them for days, weeks, months and they still pretend not to understand what you've been trying to explain. My health and time is always more important and spent with so much more benefit elsewhere.

Toxic places eventually die, because people will clear up those places and go to better ones, and create a community that way. It has proven its lack of sustainability and that you can be free anywhere else and flourish with quality people and technology, where the ignore button actually exists and antviruses don't flag those websites as malware. The website rules don't even allow you to share the content you post there elsewhere, or vice versa.

People think that everyone's dumb like the mods, but many people know what's up, times and times again I see the same words used about wp. Before I even found this blog I was thinking many of the things that people said here. It IS the truth, that's why so many people along the years agree on these matters and are thinking the same thing.

"In 2010, Wrong Planet created a television show about autism called Autism Talk TV. Sponsors of this web series include Autism Speaks. The show is hosted by Alex Plank and Jack Robison, the son of author John Elder Robison. Neurodiversity advocates have accused Plank of betraying Wrong Planet's goal for autism acceptance by accepting money from Autism Speaks for this web series. The autism rights movement and neurodiversity advocates do not see autism as a disease that needs to be cured, and have criticized Autism Speaks for seeking a cure. The word "cure" was dropped from its mission statement in 2016." from Wikipedia

  23. What people need to know about Wrong Planet:

Wrong Planet is first and foremost for those who embrace the left-wing narrative.
This isn't a problem as such. The problem is that mods employ double standards that favour those embracing left-wing politics.

Now pushing a political position in itself is not an issue. If people don't like the politics, they can simply leave.
But It is the bias, double-standards, bullying, and pretending to be a website for all autistics that creates the toxic environment if you aren't "one of us".

    Bottom line:

If you aren't a progressive in politics, I suggest you don't mention political issues if you don't completely embrace a left-wing narrative.
There are even situations where something said will be deliberately misrepresented with the intention of causing conflict.

I expected better from a supposedly autistic website.
But it is what it is.
    You have been warned.

  24. There's a reason the site name chosen was "wrong" planet - If you attempt to post anything from the centre (or, heaven forbid, the "right") you will be attacked by the site admin\modeators, with attacks from other members encouraged... Naming it "left planet" would have made clear the intent of the site, but made it too obvious that the site was not intended to be welcoming to all on the spectrum and so potentially hurt Alex's ability to gain social credit from creating it.

  34. I don't look at it much any more. I think I'm finally starting to move on. I only look at it if I'm bored with the internet but don't have anything else to do. It's just the same old same old, with the rules not applying to certain members just because they belong to the trans community or have been the victims of the groomers which they brought on themselves.

    1. It seems the aim of the owner has been realised. I.E. creating an LGBT echo chamber.
Most politically conservative or independent people have been bullied off that site.
Unless you are a progressive, there is little reason to go there these days, and compared to some other autistic websites, it is dead.
So much for the failed revolution against the tyranny of the left-wing.
